Birthright is a not-for-profit charitable organisation dedicated to making a difference for whānau led by one parent. We rely on the support of individuals, businesses, as well as government to support much of our work.

There are many ways to getting involved with Birthright and helping support the mahi we provide.

Donate

Please donate to help us continue our important work.

Your donations will help us get the right support to families. Your support may include basic necessities, parenting skills, ensuring families receive their entitlements, extra-curricular activities or advocating for systemic change at a national level to ensure better conditions for all children growing up in single-parent families.

Making a donation using this form goes towards the advocacy and affiliate support work Birthright New Zealand does.

To donate directly to your local Birthright chapter, please contact your local Birthright to find out how.

Volunteer

We'd love for you to get involved with Birthright - we are a volunteer-driven charity and much of the mahi we provide for families and whānau is made possible by them.

Your support as a volunteer can make all the difference in the support we can give.

If you would like to become a Birthright volunteer, contact your local Birthright to find about opportunities in your area.

Work for us

You too can support New Zealand kids. We are passionate about strengthening and enriching the lives of children and families.  For over 65 years we have specialised in working with families led by one person.

Today, we have 11 affiliate organisations located around New Zealand who deliver a range of social services to families led by one person. Some regions also provide services to two-parent and blended families.
