Community based social work, both individual and/or family work, with school age children and young people in response to behavioural and/or social issues. Referrals can be made by schools, agencies or family members. Co-ordination of collaborative interagency work with families through the Strengthening Families process. The Trust incorporates the Kapiti Family Violence Initiative.

Purpose / Services Available: To help individuals and families find security in handling their own financial affairs through the development of good money management skills. Volunteers provide free, confidential non-judgmental advice and support, help with planning a budget and living within an income, negotiations with creditors and agencies as required, arrangement of banking and recording systems.
