Birthright Hutt Valley provides a service of support, advice, guidance and assistance to one-parent families under stress or in need, with the aim of providing the children in these families access to life-skills development experiences and opportunities for advancement that would not normally be available to them.

Community Links NZ (Inc) is a social service agency based in Naenae. From its beginnings in 2006 in Titahi Bay we are now based in Naenae. We have qualified A&D clinical practitioners and generic counsellors.

Pregnancy Help is a free service that provides safe and warm baby equipment (including warm bedding and maternity clothes), as well as support and advice. First Thursday of every month - 10am-noon.

A place for women to meet others, practice English, learn new skills, share and exchange cultural experiences and learn about New Zealand way of life. SWINGS is a social and learning group for refugee and migrant women and their preschool children in the Hutt Valley.

We are a support group for people who have lost a partner through death, separation or divorce. Our aim is to encourage self-healing and growth. We run ten-week courses up to three times per year in Wellington, Lower Hutt, Kapiti and the Wairarapa. There is also a social programme for those who continue to be members after they have finished their courses.
Purpose: Micro credit, budgeting, interest free loans for business training and education.
The Refuge offers support, advocacy and counselling to women & children who are affected by domestic violence. The Refuge endeavours to provide, and appropriately refer, in a culturally sensitive response. Other services include - court support, legal referral, safe house accommodation, community support, safety plans. Information about protection orders, police response, housing, Income Support and other service providers.
Purpose: Youthtown Upper Hutt is supported by Youthtown Auckland to give young people opportunities for physical, social and creative experiences. In order to build self-esteem and confidence, Youthtown provides specialised quality programmes and guidance in a supportive environment.
