New report highlights loneliness suffered by some families led by one person

Birthright New Zealand welcomes this comprehensive report from Loneliness New Zealand.  

We know that for some families led by one person that chronic loneliness is all too common an experience.  It is great to have some solid evidence to back this up.  

Real solutions are there but will take some significant changes in terms of the way we provide services, create housing and support each other at a social level.  Talking about this issue is a good first step.
