AdoptUs Counselling Centre Inc
  • AdoptUs Counselling Centre provide culturally appropriate counselling services for Pacific Island families, youth and other ethnic groups in the community. We have NZQA qualified counsellors who provide one to one counselling services and prevention and intervention workshops that focus on areas in health, problem gambling, alcohol and drug assessment and counselling, and mental heath issues.

Challenge for Change
  • A 20-week mentoring programme (early intervention) for 9-13 year olds. We run two 20-week programmes twice a year; one beginning in February and one in early July. There is no charge for this service.

Choices (Wellington) Inc
  • A mentoring programme providing support for young people aged 13-17 years in the Wellington region. We provide comprehensive training and supervision for our mentors. Gain skills and experience, meet new people and contribute to the community. We are a charitable organisation run by volunteers, not affiliated to any religious or political groups.

Widowed Separated & Divorced Support Group (WSD)
  • We are a support group for people who have lost a partner through death, separation or divorce. Our aim is to encourage self-healing and growth. We run 10-week courses up to three times per year, in Wellington, Lower Hutt, Kapiti and the Wairarapa. There is also a social programme for those who continue to be members after they have finished their courses.
